FCCG Strings Band presents "Yesterday"

The strings band shared Yesterday in their most recent worship presentation.

Yesterday troubles seemed far away. Pretty sure God will lead us through even the tough times of today.

Souper Bowl of Caring

As we approach Super Bowl 52 on February 4, 2018, we are seeking your support! Let's remember those who may not have any soup for their bowls this year.
Your investment in United Ministries gives people right here in your community a hand up when they most need it. Your generosity makes the difference. In 2017, Emergency Assistance was able to provide help to over 2,100 families in the Greenville community.
Your gift offers immediate resources to those in the Greenville community who need it most. Can you show your support by donating 100 cans of food or making a gift of $100?
You can bring your food donations at any time to our office at 606 Pendleton Street. Just be sure to notate that you are donating to help meet the Souper Bowl of Caring goal. You can also donate online - $1 = 1 can = ½ a pound of food.
We thank you, our volunteers thank you, and our community thanks you for your generous support!

Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper tonight at 5:30 pm.
Fat Tuesday is known by many Christians as Shrove Tuesday and it is a very common practice for churches to have Shrove Tuesday pancake dinners-using up the sugar in the church’s kitchen! This year we will again prepare and serve a Pancake Supper that will include sausage, juice, milk and coffee. A donation of $5 is asked and will go to our Week of Compassion offering. Join us tonight at 5:30pm!

Ash Wednesday Service
Tomorrow, March 1 at 6:30 pm
Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. It takes its name from the ceremonial imposition of ashes on the foreheads of worshipers as a sign of human sin and mortality. This ancient tradition, going back at least to the tenth century, communicates the human condition before God by solemn word and sign. The ashes are made from burning the branches carried the previous Palm SundayPlease join us at 6:30 on March 1.
